Grid-Tied Solar Power, Sized for You

A Solar ON Grid (grid-tied) system connects directly to the utility grid, letting you generate your own electricity and offset your bill through net metering — without needing battery storage. It's the most cost-effective way to go solar for homes and businesses that already have a reliable grid connection.

As a TEDA & MNRE enlisted manufacturer and solar system integrator based in Coimbatore, Dev Solar designs, manufactures and installs ON Grid systems across the full range — from residential rooftops to 100 Kilo Watts+ utility-size installations for commercial and industrial clients.

Why Choose Grid-Tied Solar

Why Choose Grid-Tied Solar

Grid-tied systems are the fastest way to reduce your monthly electricity bill:

  • Lower upfront cost — no battery bank required
  • Net metering credits excess power back to the grid
  • Scales from residential rooftops to 100 Kilo Watts+ plants

Grid backup means uninterrupted power on cloudy days, while your solar array does the work of cutting your bill year-round.

From Site Survey to Commissioning

Every Dev Solar ON Grid installation starts with a site assessment to size the system correctly for your roof or land area and your actual power consumption. Our team handles design, manufacturing, installation, and grid interconnection paperwork, so you get a system that's compliant, efficient, and built to last.

Because we manufacture our own modules, we control quality end to end — rather than reselling third-party panels of unknown provenance.

How an ON Grid System Works

An ON Grid system carries no battery — generation and consumption happen in real time, with the grid balancing the difference either way:

  • Solar energy is consumed directly by whatever loads are running
  • Nothing stores the energy — there is no battery bank
  • When generation is more than demand, the surplus is exported to the grid
  • When demand is more than generation, the shortfall is imported from the grid
  • A bi-directional net meter measures exported and imported units separately
  • Most beneficial for industries, commercial establishments, colleges and schools whose demand peaks during the daytime

For domestic rooftop systems, government subsidy of roughly 20–40% (indicatively ₹30,000 to ₹78,000) may apply under the prevailing MNRE / state scheme — our team will confirm the current benefit for your category.
